Role: Lead Designer, Art Director

As part of the team managing the 5th largest online social presence at the time, I worked closely with client stakeholders to develop Skype's daily social media content and monthly editorial campaigns. I created flexible design templates and established a visual system that balanced creative expression with broader business objectives. Working within rapid 1-3 hour turnarounds, my team and I produced timely content for Skype Newsroom that kept pace with trending social conversations.

For seasonal campaigns like Valentine's Day, we designed custom profile elements, cover photos, and emoticon-focused greeting cards that drove audience engagement. Throughout the year, I helped build a scalable content system that maintained visual consistency while allowing our team to engage authentically with Skype's massive online community daily while keeping business goals in mind.

For longer lasting themes and major holidays - campaigns were created for social media content along with relevant cover photos and profile photos.

While most editorial content was planned and produced in advance, we also created templates that allowed us to be more reactive and creative when a quick turn around was needed.
